AirTag 2 is $23 on Amazon, a new record low

Apple’s AirTag 2 has dropped to $23 for the single pack on Amazon US, down from its regular $29. Both MacRumors and 9to5Toys reported the price on 25 October 2026, and both call it the lowest price ever tracked for the single AirTag 2 since it was released earlier this year. The previous low for the single pack was $24, a price it had held since mid-August, so this is a real new floor, not a return to an old one.

The discount is a little over 20% off the regular price. 9to5Toys notes the $23 price ships free for Prime members or on orders over $35, and MacRumors reports matching prices for both packs at Best Buy.

Single vs 4-pack: which one is actually cheaper?

The 4-pack is also on sale at $89, down from $99. Per tracker, that works out to $22.25 each, which beats the single pack’s $23. But the 4-pack at $89 is a second-best price, not a record: it has gone as low as $80 in the past. So the honest split is simple. If you need only one tracker, $23 is the best single price ever. If you need four, $89 is cheaper per unit, but it is not the cheapest the bundle has ever been.

Pack Sale price Regular price Per tracker
Single (1-pack) $23 $29 $23.00
4-pack $89 $99 $22.25

What you get with AirTag 2

AirTag 2 is Apple’s current tracker, released earlier this year. It carries a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip, which lets Precision Finding work up to 50% farther away from an item than the previous model could. 9to5Toys also notes improved Bluetooth and an upgraded speaker over the original AirTag. If you already own the first AirTag, the range improvement is the clearest reason to consider upgrading. If you own nothing, this is the current model at its lowest price so far.
